This hotel is conveniently located next to Perrache station. It made traveling around the city super easy. The décor is charming, blending vintage with modern touches. The air conditioning worked really well during the heat wave, a huge relief. The staff stood out for their really good friendliness. They offered great recommendations for local sights and dining. I appreciated their willingness to help with any requests, like storing luggage. Breakfast had a nice spread, but I thought it could have more variety. We noticed a bit of a mildewy smell on the sheets, slightly off-putting, but overall, the cleanliness was good. The room size felt tight, especially with two large suitcases, so a suitcase stand would have been useful.

Hotelo is an excellent place to stay. The look is a great combination of modern design in a traditional building. The location is good - near Gare Lyon Perrache - just a few stops from old Lyon on the metro. There is a wonderful restaurant - Brasserie Georges - just accross from the hotel. This is a classic Lyon restaurant - with a simple elegance and great food - at reasonable prices. Hotelo is highly recommended.

It was in the right location for us. Minutes from the main road and next to a large public car park. Around the corner was a lovely children's park - great for our three kids after such a long drive. Then it is an easy walk into town to eat. Hotelo is clean and good value. It has a calmness throughout which we liked. Nice personal service. In the morning the lobby is converted into a lovely relaxed breakfast room and we were served a nice varied fresh breakfast - highly recommended. We would stay here again without hesitation and have already recommended it to friends. Thank you Hotelo!
A selection of fresh fruit and/or a fruit salad available at breakfast would have been nice (sadly my wife couldn't enjoy the lovely fresh breads provided as she is coliac and everything has to be wheat/gluten free)

Very nice and clean. Modern updates to the room. Front desk staff were very informative and willing to help with any questions.
The shower did not have a curtain or a sliding door so water got everywhere after each shower.

We really enjoyed exploring the city on foot, especially visiting the last-remaining silk workshop in Croix-Rousse. And the nearby cafés served delicious pastries that the kids loved during breakfast.
My kids wished for some softer pillows for a better rest.

I really enjoyed staying in this property and its magnificent and ideal location.
It was a lovely small and quaint hotel in a shopping area, not far from the city center as well as the attractions. The staff was well-mannered, excellent service.

The proximity to one of Lyon's main squares, within walking distance to restaurants. The cleanliness of the room and modern features in the bathroom. Beds were comfortable and street noise was to a minimum.
There was a sewer smell upon entereing Hotelo. It was offensive. Perhaps the owners can check with the city to remedy this.

Clean hotel, and the staff were incredibly helpful and service-minded, location was perfect easy to connect to from the other train station. Location: the venue was really close to main attractions and the main stations. And there was Afrika Burger with short-orders very close to the venue, super convenient.

We thought it was very good value for Lyon. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. It was within walking distance to Vieux Lyon with areas of interest along the way. Couldn't be much closer to metro stop as well as Gare Perrache, and streetcar stop. Breakfast was an additional 6 Euros but we found it was worth it for the choices of items available.
We had booked a room for 3 to be guaranteed two beds. As we had read in reviews, the room was tight for two people. We can't imagine how one would fit 3 people plus luggage in a room.
